A Little Birdie Told Me...

Studying for an End of Course Test (EOCT) has delayed SCUTTLEBUTT by a bit.

So I figured I'd add a little more later this week to compensate my loyal fans...thank you for your continued patronage and understanding.

I also wanted to advertise a fellow blog - AMVER: Automated Mutual Assistance Vessel Reporting** program. AMVER, sponsored by the United States Coast Guard, is a unique, computer-based, and voluntary global ship reporting system used worldwide by search and rescue authorities to arrange for assistance to persons in distress at sea. With AMVER, rescue coordinators can identify participating ships in the area of distress and divert the best-suited ship or ships to respond.

This is a very unique and essential program to maritime search and rescue. Their blog can be found at: http://amveruscg.blogspot.com/

Cheers!

**NOTE: SCUTTLEBUTT originally posted AMVER's acronym incorrectly. The change is noted above.
